A late-summer celebration on the shores of Saimaa.

Saimaa Folk is a new, joyful music event that invites everyone to enjoy the refreshing waters of Saimaa and celebrate the end of summer in Savonlinna. The event takes place at the old locomotive sheds of House of Olaf.

On the same day, all kinds of things happen around the city — including the Riihisaari sauna festival and a steamboat cruise. 15 August is truly the day to come to Savonlinna!

The event is part of Savonlinna's Dream Year of Culture 2026. The SEKSY DJs keep the crowd dancing into the small hours — come celebrate with us!
